5 Stage Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Unit

A reverse osmosis unit is like having your own bottled water plant. It takes (city water or pretreated water ) the processed water and filters it through 5 stages of filtration - providing you high quality water on tap at your kitchen sink.

The SM5 is like having your own bottled water plant. It takes the processed water and filters it through 8 more stages - providing you high quality water on tap at your kitchen sink.

	A pre-filter removes anything larger than 5 micron in size
	An activated carbon filters the water flows over 30 cubic inches of granulated carbon for chlorine removal
	A reverse osmosis membrane- this rejects up to 95% of the TDS (Total Dissolve Solids)
	VOC filter – provides extended contact time with a special carbon for contaminate removal
	Carbon post filter – after the water is stored in the pressurized storage tank it flows through the final post filter to Oxygenate and polish the water so that it tastes fresh and crisp

There is a touch flow spigot installed for easy dispensing of the high quality drinking water. The SM-5 Hyper Filtration unit will provide your family with up to 20 Gallons of high quality drinking water daily for drinking, cooking and quality ice.

The filters need to be replaced annually and the membrane approximately every three years.
